Treasury update: S$115.00 + S$30.00 (contributed by the lunatics pictured below): = S$145.00

Everyday Sunday. Fun, laughter, peace, joy, Taboo and a 5-0 thrashing of a yellow team to kick off the new year. Peng put the whites ahead with a Messi/Zizou/Kaka-like chip within the first five minutes of the match, and although we dropped our metaphoric gears after that, we still managed to score four more.

Josh converted from the spot after Yen Hao's marauding run was halted by an illegal sliding tackle. Boon then exquisitely lifted the ball over the hapless keeper with a stunning scissor lob, a skill which isn't even available on the latest version of PES/WE! After finding space brilliantly, Nathan proved he's as good at the other end of the posts as he converted Boon's cross with a well-executed diving header, much to the delight of sidelined injured trio Adib, Kim and Nizar. Yen Hao then put the proverbial icing on the cake as he eased past two defenders before typically slotting the ball into the net.
