Welcome back, dad! Father and son went for awesome dinner at The Rice Plate (International Building, just beside Lido) where guests are served an unlimited supply of twenty delectable dishes inspired by Indonesian/Malay cooking for a more-than-reasonable price of 22$. The various bistros in the vicinity was a welcome, refreshing change to your usual fast food, Sakae, Fish & Co etc.
Just as about I was to enter Pacific Plaza, I saw a familar, frustrated face in the taxi queue that never seemed to move. "That guy who made cookies..." my brain scurried about its array of memory cells, and voila! Famous Daryl! I went over to say hi to him and his sis (or so he claims) and offered them some gum before making my way.
CB was cool again, as usual- worked at the attic with a comely bartender who's fond of piercings (nipples, too. ouch) and met a couple of sociable girls. One of them requested to be my "sister" after realizing I was "too young for her", and the other asked (and received heh) for a photo to be taken with me awwww ^_^ When I get me pay, I'm gonna buy Absolut Vanilia, Bailey's and Sambuca. Yam seng!
